In March 2021, Saitama Prefecture formulated the ``Saitama Prefecture Digital Transformation Promotion Plan,'' which stipulates policies and measures to promote digitalization of government and DX of society as a whole. By steadily promoting the digitalization of government and permeating digital infrastructure as a social infrastructure, we aim to realize "DX of the entire society" and transform into a new Saitama Prefecture that is comfortable, prosperous, and truly easy to live in. In order to realize the ``paperless transition'' and ``telework'' that are being promoted as part of this plan, Macnica will act as the primary agent for the content cloud-based ``Box'' and cloud-based identity management/integrated authentication services in general competitive bidding. ``Okta'' and other products such as web communication handled by partner companies have been adopted to provide support.

■ Specific initiatives for this support

In order to digitize administrative work, we utilized Box to digitize information assets that had been dispersed across various systems and cabinets within the agency, converted them to the cloud, and created a system that allows for centralized management. Since there are large-scale personnel transfers of employees on a regular basis, Hakonnect, a provisioning tool originally developed by Macnica, was also introduced to create an environment that automatically manages Box accounts, creates folders, grants access rights, and performs other tasks. The acquisition of file browsing and download logs can be used to prevent information leaks and internal fraud.
Okta was also used as an identity management platform to provide single sign-on to cloud services such as Box and Web Communication. For enhanced security, multi-factor authentication is also implemented. by comprehensively capturing user information scattered in LDAP and CSV files, Okta has built an identity management infrastructure that supports the use of cloud services while maintaining the management system in the private cloud.
