On July 19, Macnica confirmed that one employee working at its Shin-Yokohama office (Shin-Yokohama, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) has been infected with COVID-19.

The employee developed a fever on July 18th, so he underwent an antigen test at a hospital on July 19th, and was confirmed to be positive. Before July 18th, the employee's last day at the office was July 13th. We have confirmed that there are no “close contacts” among employees and partner company employees, and that there are no problems with resuming work at the office. The employee is currently undergoing medical treatment under the guidance of the local public health center.

In order to ensure the safety of our business partners, employees, and cooperating company employees, we have taken measures to prevent infection, such as wearing COVID-19, disinfecting, ventilating, and ensuring social distance. In addition, from the perspective of safety and business continuity, we have taken measures such as restricting employees from coming to work by promoting telecommuting and staggered work hours.

We will continue to take these measures to prevent the spread of infection, so we appreciate your understanding.

that's all
