Macnica is conducting a trial run of the "Next Generation Marche YACYBER Farmers Market," a vegetable farmer's market that seeks new forms of shopping in the age of COVID-19, in the entrance hall of a high-rise apartment building in Tokyo's Chuo Ward, as a joint project with Nippon Broadcasting System, Inc. and YACYBER Inc., which provides the smartphone web service "YACYBER" that allows users to find nearby farms and farmers' markets. The trial run will explore new forms of shopping in the age of COVID-19, and will be targeted at apartment residents.

"Macnica" has deployed the telepresence and customized robot temi, and the robot's video call function allows staff to serve customers remotely.It also provides automated audio and video explanations of multiple products while autonomously moving around the sales office space.

"Nippon Broadcasting System" is a collaboration project with the original podcast program "YACYBER Presents Shinsuke Kasai's Agricultural Culture!" which started distribution from October 6, 2021, and the personality recommends recipes for agricultural products that were featured in the program. Shinsuke Kasai's voice will transmit information to customers through smart speakers installed at the sales office.

``YACYBER'' is collaborating with ``JR Bus Kanto Co., Ltd.'' to expand its product lineup by delivering vegetables picked directly from the farm the same day, and collecting carefully selected products from all over the country, such as organic rice grown by carefully selected farmers. At the same time, we will introduce cashless payments using a smartphone app and open a YACYBER sales office.
