| DMD | Abbreviation for Digital Micromirror Device. |
| ALC | Abbreviation for Advanced Light Control. This is the name given to a group of products that are used for pattern display in industrial applications such as 3D measurement and 3D printers. |
| Pico | We call our Video and Data Display line of products Pico. This is what we call the product group for small video display applications. |
| EVMs | An abbreviation for Evaluation Module, this is an evaluation board provided by TI. For DLP, it is a reference design including an optical module. |
| LCr | LightCrafter is an abbreviation for EVM for ALC products. |
| LCrDMore | Lightcrafter Display is an abbreviation for Pico's EVM. |
| NIR | An abbreviation for near infrared, DMDs that support near-infrared are called NIR products. |
| UV | An abbreviation for ultraviolet, DMDs that support ultraviolet rays are called UV products. DMDs for visible light are normal products, and products for other wavelengths are divided into NIR and UV. |
