Texas Instruments DP83822IF: What are the Benefits of Hard Bootstrapping?
As an advantage, it does not use MDIO/MDC, so it can be used as another port.
Also, hard bootstrap allows immediate operation after reset/power-up.
The contents of the data sheet P46-P47 and the contents of the hard boot settings correspond to the settings of each MDIO/MDC as described in the "Description" of each table. Please see the following documents for details.
