Texas Instruments LMK03328: Output clock frequency can only be generated by integer division of internal PLL?
The LMK03328 has two types of PLL,
・In the case of Integer PLL, division by an integer
・In the case of fractional PLL, integer + fraction (decimal point) division
both are possible.
For frequencies that cannot be generated by integer division, a fractional PLL should be used.
Set the "integer" and "fraction" to determine the VCO frequency (4.8GHz to 5.4GHz).
Then divide the VCO frequency by the Output Divider (integer) to generate it.
If the frequency cannot be generated as above, you will have to decide whether or not a close value is acceptable on the system side.
