Texas Instruments LM3409: The datasheet states that no control loop compensation circuit is required, but is it internally adjusted? Also, please tell me why the compensation circuit is unnecessary.
power supply
Yes, it is internally adjusted so no compensation circuit is required. Hysteretic control uses a comparator instead of using an error amplifier. This results in the following characteristics.
- No phase correction required
- Faster response speed
- Reduction of external parts
- Simplified design
