Silicon Labs Bluetooth®: Any plans to support IAR Compiler v.8.xx as a compiler that can be used with BGM1xx?
A compiler is required for software development with BGM1xx, and it supports IAR compiler and GCC. Until now, it was necessary to use v.7.80.2 (or v.7.80.4) for the IAR compiler.
However, from Bluetooth Smart SDK 2.10.0, it supports IAR v.8.30.1. Conversely, please note that Bluetooth Smart SDK 2.10.0 does not support IAR v7.80.x.
If you want to use IAR v.8.xx, please use Bluetooth Smart SDK 2.10.0 or later.
For the correlation between the Bluetooth Smart SDK version and the IAR version that can be used, please refer to another topic (I use the IAR compiler in the C language design of BGM1xx, but is there a version specification?).
