Silicon Labs CP210x: I want to control the CP2102N from a CDC driver, how do I do that?
The CP210x device class is Vendor Specific, not CDC (Communication Device Class).
Therefore, it cannot be controlled from the CDC driver.
Use the virtual COM driver provided by Silicon Labs as the control driver. The latest VCP driver is available from the SiliconLabs website.
If CDC support is required, Silicon Labs' 32-bit microcontroller "EFM32HG (Happy Gecko family)" can be used. CDC sample code is available.
