Silicon Labs CP210x: The CP2102N reference circuit is different between the datasheet and the evaluation board. Which one should I refer to?
The figure below is the schematic of the datasheet and the schematic of the evaluation board (CP2102N miniEK).
The datasheet schematic uses a voltage divider on the VBUS pin, but the evaluation board does not.

The circuit given in the datasheet is up to date and requires a voltage divider resistor on the VBUS pin. (FYI: In the CP2102N reference circuit, the input voltage on the VBUS pin is divided down. Why do you need a voltage dividing resistor?)
For the VBUS pin, use the circuit described in the datasheet.
