There is a module called Silicon Labs MGMxxx(Mighty Gecko Module family) that can implement Bluetooth, Zigbee, Thread, and proprietary (2.4GHz).
This module supports multi-protocols of Bluetooth and Zigbee, so by writing firmware for Bluetooth and Zigbee in one module, it is possible to realize a combo module equivalent.
