Silicon Labs EFM32: The version printed on the starter kit and the board version displayed on Simplicity Studio are different. why?

EFx32

The back of the starter kit has a silk (or sticker) like the BRD 2200A Rev.A03 and PCB2200 REV.A04. BRD xxx indicates assembly version and PCB xxx indicates PCB version. Both versions are not identical.
Some starter kits are printed with only PCB xxx. Simplicity Studio also shows the assembly version (BRD xxx). In this case, it feels like the board versions are different, but that's okay.
