Silicon Labs CP210x: The CP210x has built-in ROM, but does it require a soft design?
CP210x can be used without software design.
The ROM is built in to hold the information of the USB device (Vendor ID, Product ID, Strings, etc.). These information are used when connecting with the USB host. For data that can be stored in ROM, please refer to the"CP210xQuick Start Guide" created by our company.
Although software design for the CP210x is not required, application design for the USB host (PC, etc.) is required.
