The CP2130 is a USB ⇔ SPI conversion IC. The basic specs are as follows.

• USB: Device function (full speed) *Note 1
• SPI: Master function (up to 6.6Mbps) *Note 2
• GPIO expansion function: 11 *Note 3
• Operating Voltage: 3.0-3.6V (Self-powered), 4.0-5.25V (Bus-powered)
• Package: QFN24 (4x4mm)

 
*Note 1: Regarding the USB driver, in the case of Windows, Microsoft's WinUSB driver is used and an API library is provided. For other OSs, the customer will have to prepare them, but the interface specifications are disclosed.

*Note 2: SPI communication speed varies depending on conditions such as SPI clock settings and read/write operations. Please see the datasheet for details.

*Note 3: GPIO is shared with the CS pin (chip select), so up to 11 SPI CS pins can be used.
