Silicon Labs EFM32: I want to use an external crystal, are there any restrictions on frequency deviation?
There are no particular restrictions. Even crystals available on the market are not very accurate, but they are only a few hundred ppm, but they can be used with the EFM32 without any problems.
There may be restrictions on the frequency deviation due to application requirements (communication standards, etc.). For USB, AN0046(USB Hardware Design Guide) specifies 48MHz +/-2500ppm.
