Silicon Labs CP210x: Can I change the VCP driver installer to display Japanese?

Microsoft's DPinst is used to install the VCP driver. By editing dpinst.xml in the VCP driver folder, you can change the string displayed when the installer is started.

<Procedure>
1. Please prepare an XML editor to edit the XML file. Here, we will explain using Microsoft's XML Notepad 2007.

2. Open dpinst.xml in an XML editor. There are settings for each language, but Japanese is language code =0x0411.

3. Change the English message to your favorite Japanese as shown below. Save when you have finished making changes.

4. When you start the installer, you can confirm that the display has been changed to Japanese.
