Silicon Labs EFM8/C8051: Isn't there a way to program from the command line?

EFM8/C8051

We provide a dedicated programming tool called Flash Programming Utilities, which can be used from the command line as well as the GUI.
Installing Flash Programming Utilities creates two folders under C:\SiLabs\MCU\Utilities\FLASH Programming\Static Programmers.

  • Command line
  • Windows Console

If you want to use the programmer from the command line, use FlashUtilCL.exe in the Command-Line folder. Please refer to readme.txt for how to use FlashUtilCL.exe.

For information on where to obtain Flash Programming Utilities, please refer to another topic (Is there a dedicated programming tool? Simplerthan Simplicity Studio or Silicon Labs IDE is better).
