Silicon Labs CP210x: Why is the internal regulator output of the CP2104/CP2105/CP2109 3.45V (Typ) instead of 3.3V (Typ)?

CP21xx

The CP2104/CP2105/CP2109 have a built-in One-time programmable ROM (EPROM), but a voltage of 3.3V or higher is required to rewrite this ROM. (See another topic)
Therefore, it is designed to output a slightly higher voltage (3.45V) based on output fluctuations instead of 3.3V (Typ).
