Silicon Labs EFM32: How do I clear the User Data Page (UD) from Simplicity Studio?

The User Data page cannot be erased using the Flash programmer's Erase or Unlock Debug Access commands. However, it is possible to erase by overwriting the Hex file filled with 0xFF to UD. Address information is included in the Hex file, so prepare a Hex file that matches the UD address and UD size in advance.
Start Flash Programmer, select the Hex file in File, and download it in Program.

You can confirm that the UD has been erased (overwritten) in the Simplicity IDE Memory window.

Note that the size of the UD is different for each device family. The size of the Hex file (2KB_FF.hex) attached to this topic is 2kB, so it can be used with EFM32LG and EFM32WG with 2kB UD.
