Silicon Labs EZR32LG/WG: What is the EZR32LG/WG?
A SiP (System in Package) that combines an MCU and a wireless IC into one package.
The EFM32LG/WG equivalent is used for the MCU, and the EZRadioPRO Si446x/EZRadio Si4455 equivalent is used for the wireless IC. Since it is a combination of MCU and wireless IC with a proven track record in the market, there is a sense of security compared to newly designed ICs.
Another advantage is the wide variety of flash memory sizes and wireless output levels.
