Silicon Labs CP210x: When I connect more than one CP210x to my PC, they are not recognized properly. Please tell me what to do
If you prepare multiple USB devices with the same Vendor ID (VID), Product ID (PID), and serial number and connect them to a single PC, you may not be able to identify each device from the PC. You can solve the problem by setting the serial number to a different value.
To change the serial number, you need to customize the CP210x internal ROM. For detailed instructions, please refer to the"CP210xQuick Start Guide"created by our company.
