Silicon Labs EFM32: How do I use a custom linker script (Simplicity IDE)

A linker script is a file that gives memory allocation information for code and data to the linker, and the sample code includes a linker script with the extension ld. You can change the linker script used by following the steps below.
Select the project in the Project Explorer and right click → Property → C/C++ Build → Settings → Memory Layout. Check Use custom linker script and specify the linker script to use.
