Silicon Labs EFM32: Is it possible to change the PWM frequency dynamically?
EFx32
Is possible. By changing the timer setting, the PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) frequency can be changed. However, since one timer controls up to 3 channels of PWM, changing the PWM frequency also involves changing the 3-channel set.
Also, the PWM may glitch when changing frequencies. To avoid that, it is recommended to use TIMERn_TOPB when changing frequencies.
