When I assign LVDS_RX pins to dedicated pins on the Quartus II Pin Planner, I am having trouble placing them while looking at the pop-up display. Is it possible to display just the LVDS_RX pins for clarity?

First, display the differential pin pairs on the Pin Planner.

View menu ⇒ Show ⇒ Show Differential Pin Pair Connections

Next, if you double-click HIGHlight Pins ⇒ Differential Pins ⇒ Differential Input with SERDES from the Tasks pane, only the pins dedicated to differential input will be highlighted in black and lightly colored on the Pin Planner.
(Here, each time you double-click again, the color changes.)

To remove the black border, uncheck DIFF Input with SERDES in Pin Characteristic Reports from the Report pane.

* You can also clarify the LVDS_RX pin in the bank by using it together with other identification (eg I/O bank).
