Do Arria V devices support the Quartus II Live I/O Checking feature?

Device: Arria® V
28-nm process devices, including Arria V devices, do not support the Live I/O Checking feature. When I run the Live I/O Checking feature on my Arria V project, I get a message that it is not supported.
Live I/O check is currently not supported by the "Arria V" family.
Some versions of the handbook state that 28-nm devices support the Live I/O Checking feature, but this is incorrect. The description in the handbook will be revised in the future.
