There are signals tx_ff_ulow and ff_tx_a_empty between the transmit FIFO block of the Triple Speed Ethernet (TSE) Megafunction and the system. Please tell me the difference between these two signals.
An Ethernet frame is sent from the system side to the TSE transmission FIFO via the Avalon-ST interface, but when the entire Ethernet frame fits in the transmission FIFO, data is sent to the PHY and the transmission FIFO becomes almost empty. Once reached, ff_tx_a_empty is asserted.
tx_ff_uflow is asserted when only a portion of an Ethernet frame fits in the transmit FIFO, not the entire Ethernet frame, and the transmit FIFO reaches almost empty when sending data to the PHY.
