Since this is a security issue with Micerosoft Excel, it can be avoided by mitigating it, but please make sure that there is no other impact before proceeding.

Here's how to change it.
At the top of the screen, "Protected View This file was taken from a location on the Internet and may be unsafe. Click to view details." Click "Enable".
Next, at the top of the screen you will see "Security warning Some active content has been disabled. Click for more details" and click "Enable Content" next to it.
