Since RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.0, the noexec option is added during GUI automount. As a result, if the DVD is automounted, the following error will be displayed when the autorun script is executed, and it will not run properly.

This is also true for executables and shell scripts with no extension other than setup scripts.


To work around this issue, mount manually instead of automounting, or disable the noexec option by running the following command:

# mount -o exec,remount /dev/had

=======================

* Since hda differs depending on the machine environment used, set it according to your environment.

Please run the setup script again after performing the above steps.
