You can have Quartus® Prime generate an IBIS model with only the information required for your project specifications.
However, pin assignments, interface specifications, etc. must be determined in advance, and full compilation must be completed.

The IBIS model generation method is as follows.

1) Select Assignments menu > Settings on Quartus® Prime

2) Select EDA Tool Settings from Category on the left side of the screen (For Standard Edition, select Board-Level)

3) Select each item in the Board-level signal integrity analysis column on the right side of the screen.

Format	Select IBIS
IBIS version	Select desired version
Output directory	Specify the generated file path (default is board/ibis)
Various options	Select as needed

Click the OK button

4) Select Processing menu > Start > Start EDA Netlist Writer on Quartus® Prime and execute.

By doing the above, .ibs will be generated in the folder specified in step 3).
