Is there a problem with the following warning message in a design that includes a DDR/DDR2/DDR3 memory controller?
<Warning message>
Warning: Ignored I/O standard assignment(s) to …
Invalid settings are included in the I/O standard and pin attribute settings.
In the pin information (*.pin file, etc.) of the compilation result, if the user can confirm that there is no problem even if the setting is invalid, it can be ignored. If the warning message goes away, identify the invalid setting on the Assignment Editor and remove it.
Here are two relatively common causes of this warning message.
| (1) | If you manually set the pin attributes before compiling, other than through the IP's Wizard-generated tcl file, and you mistype the pin name or use the bus name. |
| (2) | Example Invalid settings occur before and after the change because the pin name in the top layer of the design has been changed. |
