Intel: I have created user flash memory (UFM) and clock output (OSC) designs in MAX II respectively, but I get a Fitter Error (Cannot place the following nodes) and compilation does not complete. Is there a better way?
Creating each design separately would use up a total of two UFM blocks.
Since MAX II devices, regardless of size, have only one UFM block, we conclude that the error is due to lack of resources.
You can add an OSC output pin to your UFM design, so you can use that output clock without having to generate a separate design for the clock output.
