There are two types of design security, volatile and non-volatile, and the download cables that support them are different.


Non-volatile AES key:
Intel FPGA Ethernet Cable (formerly EthernetBlaster)
Intel FPGA Download Cable II (formerly USB Blaster II)
Volatile AES key:
Intel FPGA Ethernet Cable (formerly EthernetBlaster)
Intel FPGA Parallel Port Cable (formerly ByteBlaster)
Intel FPGA Download Cable (formerly USB Blaster)
Intel FPGA Download Cable II (formerly USB Blaster II)
