Intel: MAX 3000A Handbook has High Speed Mode and Low Power Mode, where do I set it in the tool?

It will be set to Turbo Bit.
Set Turbo Bit to ”On” for High Speed Mode, and ”OFF” for Low Power Mode.

The setting method is as follows.

<Quartus II Settings>

Select Assignments menu ⇒ Settings.
Select Fitter Settings.
Click the More Settings button.
Select ”Auto Turbo Bit” in the Existing option settings column, and switch On/Off from the pull-down menu in the Option column.

<MAX+plus II settings>

Select Assign menu ⇒ Global Project Logic Synthesis.
Click the Define Synthesis Style button.
Check (On) or uncheck (Off) Turbo Bit.
