This is a display issue on the Nios® II SBT. Since it is compiled according to the setting of public.mk, it works as set without any problem in the operation of the actual machine.
If you want to reflect the gray upt, once you Clean Project the Application and BSP and then Build Project the BSP, the gray out will be reflected.
