Intel: When using the Cyclone® V DDR3 EMIF (External Memory Interface) IP, is it possible to check the values set in the mode registers (MR0-3) at the start of user mode through a simulation or actual device?
Category: External memory interface
Tools: Quartus® Prime
Device: Cyclone® V
Please note that due to IP/Device configuration, this value cannot be checked with Signal Tap during actual machine operation.
In the simulation, it can be confirmed as the address signal value (= setting value) at the time of the MRS command immediately before the end of calibration (-> start of user mode).
Included in the information displayed in the Transcript window in the ModelSim® simulation of the Example Design.
It will be displayed like "MRS Command - MRS [ 0 ] -> 231 ". (The setting 231 looks like a decimal number, but it's a hexadecimal number.)
