ALT_FP_*** is the old core, please use the new core FP_FUNCTIONS Intel FPGA IP (ALTERA_FP_FUNCTIONS).
You can specify and use the function by selecting from the Function column as follows.

Absolute value: select “Arithmetic” -> “Absolute”
Conversions: Select “Conversions”
Exponent: Select “Exp/Log/Pow” -> “ALTERA_FP_FUNCTIONS”
Reciprocal: Select “Arithmetic” -> “Reciprocal”
Reciprocal Square Root: Select “Root” -> “Reciprocal Square Root”
Logarithm: Select “Exp/Log/Pow” -> “Log”
Multiplication: select “Arithmetic” -> “Multiply”

*This error occurs with Quartus® Prime Standard Edition ver.15.1 or earlier tools.
* In ver.16.0 or later, when targeting MAX® 10, ALTFP_xxx cannot be selected.
*From ver.19.1 Standard Edition, ALFP_xxx cannot be used with devices other than MAX® 10.
