The CMU PLL generates a transmit clock for the transmit channel of the Stratix® V/Arria® V/Cyclone® V transceiver block, commensurate with its transmit capability.
The CMU PLL is also used as the clock data recovery (CDR) PLL for the receive channel of the transceiver block.
