It is possible to prevent merging of specific modules and registers by the following method.

■ Method using Disable Register Merging
Turn on the above constraints in the Assignment Editor.
A target can be either a register or a module.

■ Method using set_instance_assignment
It is possible to set constraints on a per module basis with set_instance_assignment instead of global settings in the qsf file.
It is possible to prevent register merging of a specific module by giving a constraint as follows, only for the module that you want to apply merge.
