Intel: After running pin_assignemnt.tcl on Arria® V DDR3 Controller (Soft Controller with UniPHY), an error occurs when I/O Standard and OCT settings are changed. Please tell me what to do.
<Error message>
Error (175005): Could not find a location with: OCT_CAL_BLOCK_ID of 1 (1 location affected)
Category: External memory interface
Tools: Quartus® Prime
Device: Arria® V
As a result of changing the setting, the Address/Command pin will be treated as Output Termination, and an error will occur if the setting is insufficient.
The workaround is one of the following.
Setting example 1: Specify current value with Address/Command left as SSTL-15 Class I.
Setting example 2: Set "Series XXΩ with calibration" by explicitly unifying the values with DQ/DQS/DM for Address/Command.
Setting example 3: Set "Series YYΩ without calibration" for Address/Command.
(DQ/DQS/DM can be changed as desired. OCT aligns each value with Series/Parallel)
If you want to use multiple resistance values in Series or Parallel, you can add an OCT calibration block.
Please refer to the following knowledge for details.
Error: Could not find a location with: OCT_CAL_BLOCK_ID
