The Transaction Layer Errors chapter of the User Guide covers handling of error packets, so check that first.
For example, in the case of Unsupported Request, there is a description such as IP processing and nothing to do on the user side (Application Layer).
Of course, the user must perform Completion, Read TLP, etc. for normal Write TLP.
