The Intel® OpenCL™ host library is not designed to be thread-safe.

However, Intel® FPGA SDK for OpenCL™ creates a custom processor for each kernel, so it can be executed with simultaneous multi-threading inside the FPGA to improve performance.
Since the host library is mainly used for control code, it seems that it is not thread-safe.
