Intel: I'm using DS-5™ to debug a Linux application running on Cyclone® V SoC, but when I read/write the serial terminal, a signal (SIGIO) is detected and the operation stops. It will end up. Is there a way around it?
Category: SoCs
Tool: SoC EDS
Device: Cycone® V
The behavior of stopping an application's operation on a signal is a feature of the DDS-5™ debugger.
Selecting Manage Signals from the DS-5 Breakpoints view menu will bring up a window where you can change the settings.
By searching for SIGIO from the list of signals in the window and disabling the check Box in the stop column of the corresponding line, the operation will not be stopped by the SIGIO trigger.
