You can restore the default settings by running quartus -reset_desktop at the Windows® command prompt.

At the command prompt, navigate to the folder containing the Quartus® Prime version executable (quartus.exe). (Example: cd /d C:\altera\16.0\quartus\bin64)
Execute the following command. (quartus -reset_desktop)
