I'm considering using an instance with PCI Express* (PCIe*) Gen2 x4 and linking down to x2. At that time, there is no connection destination for 2 TX and 2 RX transceivers. How should I handle this pin?

It is recommended to connect unused transceiver receiver pins (GXB_Rx) to GND, but this is not specified in the standard.
However, for applications where unused pins are connected to connectors, it can be left untreated.
