Do MAX V devices support Schmitt trigger functionality?

MAX V devices support Schmitt trigger functionality.
It can be set to an I/O pin that satisfies the following conditions.

  • 3.3V or 2.5V I/O Standard
  • input or bidirectional pin


To set Schmitt triggers, launch the Pin Planner by Quartus Prime / Quartus II Assignments menu ⇒ Pin Planner and set the I/O Standard of the corresponding pin to 3.3V Schmitt Trigger Input, 2.5V Schmitt Trigger Input. Please compile.
(If the process above Analysis & Elaboration is executed, the pins will be displayed in the Pin Planner, making it easier to set the I/O Standard.)

After compiling, please confirm that the I/O Standard of the corresponding pin is 3.3V Schmitt Trigger Input, 2.5V Schmitt Trigger Input in the compilation report.
