This phenomenon seems to occur when double-byte characters including Japanese are used in Windows account names under Windows 8/8.1 environment.
We have confirmed that this phenomenon does not occur if you sign in with a Windows account name that contains only half-width alphanumeric characters.

However, this phenomenon may not be resolved even if the account name including double-byte characters is changed to an account with only single-byte alphanumeric characters.
In that case, please create a new account name with only half-width alphanumeric characters and try again.
