It is possible to display the log of crt0.s and alt_main.c before the main() function is called when the Nios II core starts up on the JTAG UART by setting it in the BSP Editor.
First, display Setting ⇒ Advanced ⇒ hal ⇒ log_port from the Main tab of BSP Editor, and set Value to jtag_uart.
Then display the log_flags and set the Value to 1, 2, or 3.
The higher the value, the finer the log display.

After setting the above, run the Nios II program on the actual machine and you will see the execution logs in crt0.s and alt_main.c.
