Mpression Odyssey: Once a non-volatile file (POF) has been programmed into the Odyssey kit, how do I erase it so that it does not come up every time I power up?

MAX

There are two ways to erase the MAX 10 FPGA in your Odyssey kit.

If you have a USB Blaster cable, you can connect it to the JTAG header and use the Quartus programmer to erase files written to the MAX 10 FPGA's Flash.

Alternatively, you can enter the console menu and use option 6 to erase slots containing non-volatile FPGA programming files. A factory-programmed personality such as "Dual Config FPGA LOAD" is such a case.
Running option 6 will launch JAM Player at the command line and give you the option to erase the device. (Usually option 3) Select and run.
