When executing a menu that loads a file (Personality file, FPGA JBC file), you must always check the "binary" Box in the pop-up menu.
If you execute send file without checking, the command will not be executed correctly and Tera Term will hang up.

To load a file into the same slot again, the slot must first be cleared using option 2 from the menu.
