What is the difference between Hall element and Hall Switch and Linear Hall IC?
A Hall element is an element that detects magnetic flux density using the Hall effect. The output voltage changes linearly with the magnitude of the magnetic flux density.
The Hall Switch compares the analog value of the Hall element that detects the magnetic flux density with the preset threshold value, and when this value is exceeded, the output switch switches ON/OFF to output Low/High.
The Linear Hall IC outputs a value proportional to the magnetic flux density, indicating how close the magnet is.
